Andrew Poaps
Mr. Poaps grew up in Stoney Creek United Church. He was educated at R.L. Hyslop, Orchard Park and McMaster (BA in history and music) and Redeemer Universities (B. Ed.), and mentored by Christabel Pinto. Andrew’s full time gig is with the Hamilton District School Board as a primary school teacher. Having sung in the SCUC choir as a child and as a younger adult, he looks forward to building on our musical legacy and working in the village toward broadening the engagement of the arts and all our of neighbours in our role as a community hub and a church.
